The Palisades Fire was first reported at around 10.20 am PST on January 7, 2025. Burning in the Santa Monica Mountains of Los Angeles County in Southern California it quickly became a blazing inferno due to a combination of severe drought and a worsening Santa Ana wind.
Residents living in the area were issued a mandatory evacuation order and more than 30,000 people rushed to evacuate their homes.
By January 10 the Pacific Palisades neighborhood of Los Angeles and nearby Malibu were destroyed. At least 11 people had lost their lives and thousands had lost their homes.

According to BBC World News the nine individuals whose charts are presented reported they lost their homes in the Palisades fire on social media.
The date each lost their home is not known. January 9, 2025 will be close. It doesn’t affect the event, only its timing. Birth chart and progressed positions of the ascendant and Midheaven won’t be exact.
