She’s won 39 Grand Slam titles – more than any other active female player – 23 in singles, 14 in women's doubles and 2 in mixed doubles – and four Olympic gold medals.

Serena Williams was named Female Athlete of the Year by Associated Press on December 21, 2009; and she’s won the Laureus Sportswoman of the Year award four times in 2003, 2010, 2016 and 2018.
