Her chart’s astrodyne report

Her dominant planet–key decanate profile

The Sun is Kamala Harris’s dominant planet. Its in the third decanate of Libra so the special feature of her I balance individuality is her brilliant mind and keen interest in literature and people.  But she can use her mental cleverness to unfair advantage and if she doesn’t resist this dangerous temptation she’ll get found out and suffer expiation for her wrong-doing.

The Moon is in the third decanate of Aries so her I am mentality is defined by propaganda and she promotes and advocates the principles of the Democratic Party.  She can fight disadvantage and oppression by channeling her innate restlessness and enthusiasm into helping the weak and less privileged.

Mercury is in the first decanate of Scorpio so her I desire mental activity and way of communicating is defined by resourcefulness.  When she harnesses her thoughts, ideas and aspirations to her sex drive she gets spurred into action; and her tendency to be preoccupied with sensual pleasure (Sun and Mercury are in house 5) should be channeled into constructive creative endeavor.

And with her ascendant in the third decanate of Gemini her I think personality is defined by reason. Harris is a natural born thinker but her heavy reliance on deductive reasoning can narrow her emotional vision. With the Sun conjunction Mercury her thoughts can accomplish great things but they need to be elevated with a big dose of idealism and spiritual aspiration.

Venus, Uranus and Pluto are conjunction in the second – experience – decanate of Virgo so Harris can accomplish gigantic tasks and rise to great heights through sheer hard work. There’s no doubt that her desire for political fame has involved risks (house 5) but she can use her powers of discernment and comparison to successfully navigate the allurements and temptations.  (With Venus, Uranus and Pluto in house 4 this tendency is more inclined to occur in the latter part of her life.)

In her chart 7 planets and the ascendant and Midheaven have above average power; and there are 4 (lucky) grand trines involving the Sun, Mercury, Saturn, the ascendant and Midheaven.

The Sun – planet of politics – dominates her chart and the Moon – planet of mentality – and Mercury – planet of intellect and intelligence – have above average power: And she’s living up to her astrological potential.

The Saturn-Midheaven conjunction conciliates the Sun-Moon and Mercury- Moon opposition aspects so while she stays focused on her legal career (houses 9 and 10) she can neutralize the mental conflict that involves her  social-love life (house 5) and friends (house 11).

The dominant Sun indicates a powerful urge for power and a profound sense of self-importance.  Harris, who has political acumen (Sun) and leadership potential (Moon in Aries), is one of the power crowd.

Biographical data is from her Wikipedia entry.

Her chart progressed to July 16, 2020

Progressed Midheaven in house 11 is conjunction birth chart Moon and opposition and parallel birth chart Sun in house 5.  This powerful energy event forecasts wide publicity (Moon), popularity (harmonious birth chart Midheaven), staying power and support from men, the power crowd and the common people.

Progressed Sun – her political aspirations – in house 6 (work) is opposition birth chart ascendant (her personality) but this discordant separation aspect is activating a high harmony birth chart trine.

And progressed Midheaven (her career and reputation) is sextile birth chart Saturn – planet of hard work, careful planning and responsibility – in house 9 (public speaking, speeches, radio, television and social media) – activating their birth chart conjunction; and sesquisquare (agitation) birth chart Uranus – planet of change and unexpected events that occur suddenly through a human change-agent – in house 4 (her father and place of residence).

These are the outstanding progressed aspects influencing her life from the time she announced her intention to run for president till November 3, 2020.

On July 16, 2020 – the date of the Democratic Party’s Convention – progressed Moon in her chart is parallel progressed Midheaven, parallel birth chart Sun and sesquisquare progressed Sun stimulating all the Sun and Midheaven progressions.

Her chart is looking good.

She needs 1,885 votes to win the Democrat nomination but if she loses the winner will need a vice-presidential running mate.
