Mike Pompeo became an attorney, politician and the 70th U.S. Secretary of State.
In 1982 he graduated from Los Amigos High School in Fountain Valley, California; and in 1986 graduated first in his class from the United States Military Academy at West Point.

From 1986 to 1991 he served in the US army as an Armor Branch officer; and in 1994 received a Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School.
