In April 2026 Mars, Saturn and Neptune take the world into unchartered waters.
Mars is the planet of conflict and war; Saturn is all about safety and security; and Neptune is a gold medalist at exaggerating expectations and sewing confusion and chaos. It just lies and lies and lies.
Saturn and Neptune inspired Donald Trump’s ‘let’s make the world safe’ attack on Iran. It can be viewed as an international security issue but it’s very unlikely to achieve his inflated expectations and going to war with Mars square Uranus in the sky and progressed Sun square birth chart Mars in America’s chart was not smart.
In our major Saturn-Neptune conjunction forecast article posted September 6, 2024 we covered a wide range of events and developments that seemed probably at the time. The aspect reached peak power on February 20, 2026.
We wrote: ‘Saturn conjunction Neptune forecasts inflation driven economy aka as cost cutting and job cuts, reduced economic growth, an economic crunch, deflation, (a decrease in the general price level of goods and services), a major stock slide or market crash, investor panic and confusion, and a bear market.’
We explained that the next oil crisis won’t be pretty: ‘Saturn conjunction Neptune forecasts energy poverty, severe cutbacks in oil production, a sustained fall in the price of oil, gas rationing, fuel shortages, reduced fuel costs, reduced gas supplies etc.’
And crude oil prices generally declined in 2025 with supplies in the global crude oil market exceeding demand. The Brent crude oil prices averaged around $63 a barrel in December 2025, the lowest monthly average since early 2021.
But on February 28, 2026 the surprise Israeli-American attack on Iran triggered a Saturn-Neptune oil shock.
Iran’s effective closure of the Strait of Hormuz and Iranian attacks on key energy production facilities in Qatar and Saudi Arabia paralysed a substantial chunk of the world’s energy supply. The oil price surge in response to these developments was mapped by Jupiter conjunction Neptune in the Aquarian Age chart.
In our article It’s crunch time for the Saturn-Neptune conjunction posted October 24, 2025 we wrote in relation to the upcoming (short) Neptune cycle: ‘It’s likely that a major event associated with the in-sky Saturn-Neptune conjunction prior to April 24, 2026 will act as a catalyst ushering in a very difficult time with the world struggling with its consequences.’
This event was the Israeli-American attack on Iran on February 28 which disrupted airline traffic in the Middle East and quickly spread and with Mars so active in the sky in April 2026 the conflict is likely to escalate and spread even more.
And as it escalates it will inflict serious economic damage. A sustained surge in energy prices would drive up the cost of everyday goods. And central banks will likely raise borrowing costs to curb inflation, dampening consumer spending and dragging down economic growth.
In April 2026 Mars, Saturn and Neptune in the sky are playing the tune that human actors here on Earth are dancing to. How much damage can they cause?

The new Saturn cycle starts March 26 and in America’s chart Saturn – the planet of loss – is in house 7 (war, foreign relations and open enemies). It forecasts losses and restrictions due to the actions of foreign powers and strained international relations.
Mars there forecasts war, violence abroad, major international disputes and aggressive actions by foreign powers; and Neptune forecasts deceit and tangled, confused relations with other countries.
Saturn conjunction Sun puts the focus on the actions of foreign leaders and on March 29 progressed Saturn conjunction Sun starts. It peaks April 6, ends April 14, 2026 and forecasts major Saturn events involving world leaders.
The new Mars cycle starts April 12, 2026 and its changeover period from April 9–April 14 is critical for Mars events.
On April 13 progressed Mars forms a conjunction aspect with Neptune timing major events associated with the in-sky Mars-Neptune conjunction; and on April 18 progressed Mars is conjunction Saturn timing major events associated with the major in-sky Mars-Saturn conjunction.
Manufacturing ruled by Mars has to keep pace with the demand from more and more people but in April 2026 it’s chiefly focused on manufacturing weapons.
The new Neptune cycle starts April 24, 2026 and progressed Neptune is semisextile Sun on May 30, 2026.
