Explainer: Forecast periods in global astrology
The major events that get reported each day by the news media are scripted by aspects (energy-events) formed by the planets in the sky, the major cycle charts and the Aquarian Age chart at the same time. The planets place their signatures on events and trends here on Earth.
July 2023 was the hottest month ever here on Earth. The headlines reported an era of global boiling.
The scorching heat will be back in July-August 2024 when Mars is conjunction Uranus in the sky (July 15) and Mars is square Saturn in the sky (August 24); and progressed Moon is trine birth chart Saturn (July 24) and trine birth chart Mars (August 2) in the Aquarian Age chart stimulating the major Mars-Saturn conjunction > at peak power on January 27, 2024.
August 12: Six people died after a boat carrying migrants heading to Britain sank in the English Channel; and on August 16 more than 60 people died after a boat from Senegal capsized off the coast of Cape Verde in the Atlantic Ocean.
Reports of migrant carrying ships/boats capsizing regularly get media attention and Aljazeera reported: More than 1,800 people have died on the Mediterranean route in 2023 – the world’s deadliest – double last year’s death toll.
In the current Mars cycle Mars – the planet of disasters/accidents – is conjunction Jupiter – the planets of ships and boats; and in the current Jupiter cycle Jupiter is conjunction Mars. Progressed aspects in their cycle charts are inclined to script a boating/shipping disaster involving migrants.
A high discord aspect that scripted a non-stop stream of loss and suffering associated with extreme weather was progressed Saturn square Pluto in the Saturn cycle. It started July 18 > reached peak power August 4 > and ended August 18.
On July 19 in western India heavy monsoon rain triggered a massive landslide (Saturn) that killed at least 27 people; on July 22 at least 31 were killed in heavy flooding (Saturn) in Afghanistan and severe flooding and landslides across South Korea had claimed 47 lives; and on July 25, while wildfires raged in Sicily, violent storms (Saturn) and high winds battered north and south Italy.
On July 26 Super Typhoon Egay caused extensive damage in the Philippines and then headed on to Taiwan Island and mainland China.
On July 31 in Beijing tens of thousands of people fled their homes after Typhoon Doksuri (Egay) dumped the city’s heaviest rainfall (Saturn) in 140 years with 21 people across the region confirmed dead; and from August 5 to 7 at least 29 people died when torrential rains battered Hebei province in northern China causing billions of dollars in economic losses. Forty thousand houses collapsed and 3.9 million people were affected by the floods.
On August 6 extreme flooding in Slovenia caused hundreds of millions of dollars worth of damage and killed at least three people, with the devastating weather labeled the country's worst-ever natural disaster; and on August 7/8 heavy rainfall drenched Norway and Sweden with meteorologists issuing red alerts.
On August 7 torrential rains (Saturn) destroyed more than 450 homes in northern Sudan. The desert area that rarely received rain in the past has been witnessing devastating rains for the past five years.
And after thousands of scouts left the World South Jamboree in South Korea on August 7 due to a debilitating heatwave organizers announced they were preparing to evacuate tens of thousands more due to an approaching typhoon.
And on August 14 almost 50 people died in rain-related incidents in the northern Indian state of Himachal Pradesh.
This high discord aspect in the Saturn cycle returns in January 2024 > peak power date is January 23 > so it’s safe to forecast extreme weather and flooding rains affecting countries in the Global South.
