Houston’s weather charts: August 25, 2017

August 31, 2017

When Hurricane Harvey slammed into Texas the extreme weather event was forecast in the region’s temperature, air movement and moisture charts.

A temperature chart is constructed for the time the Sun enters Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn.

There are four each year.

An air movement chart is constructed for the time Mercury enters a zodiac sign.

A moisture chart is constructed for the time of the new Moon, full Moon and second and third quarters.

There are four each lunar month.

Each chart has a forecast period and transit aspects to the ascendant time when noticeable weather events can occur.

A thorough assessment of a chart provides a reliable forecast of what’s in store with house 4 (the weather) being the chief focus point.
