The methodology when researching eclipses is easy.
The theory to test is: Does an Eclipse or New Moon chart, by the house position of the Sun-Moon conjunction and the aspects it receives from the other planets, provide a general picture of a disaster-event that occurs within the region covered by the shadow of the eclipse shortly before or after the eclipse?
The NASA eclipse website https://eclipse.gsfc.nasa.gov/solar provides data on the date, time and place for all eclipses and this data is used to construct an eclipse chart.
The time provided is the time the eclipse is total at a specified place and this is different to the time of the New Moon.
So the chart for the New Moon and the chart for the eclipse are slightly different.
In these charts the chief interest is in the nature of the eclipse, as indicated by the aspects formed by the other planets to the Sun-Moon conjunction; and the mundane affairs impacted by the eclipse, as indicated by the house in which the Sun-Moon conjunction is located.
What eventuates will involve some matter, activity or person ruled by this house.
The eclipse chart, like all charts in global astrology, does not permit precise prediction.
It pictures an energy event that is characterized by the nature of the planets directly involved in the eclipse that has its correlate with an event that is destined to occur shortly before or after the eclipse.
So, researching past eclipses is just a matter of constructing the Eclipse or New-Moon chart, assessing its nature and the area of mundane life it directly impacts, and checking to see if a disaster-event that correlates with the chart occurs within a few months before and after the eclipse.
If the eclipse is taking place in the future it’s just a matter of constructing and assessing the Eclipse chart and waiting for the disaster to occur.
Natural disasters
A disaster is defined as any major adverse event resulting from the natural processes of the Earth and this can be expanded to include man-made disasters (caused by human beings).
Natural disasters – like hurricanes and cyclones – are inevitable but the loss of life can be greatly reduced by heeding the safety warnings of weather forecasters and emergency service workers.
People made disasters are due to the actions of human beings.
They are not inevitable but usually take place right on cue as the actors involved are taking their orders directly from their not-conscious drivers and indirectly from the planets in the sky.
Mars is the disaster planet.
Saturn rules the Earth and is the planet of floods, hurricanes, tornadoes, cyclones, volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, tsunamis etc.
A natural disaster can cause loss of life, loss of property and economic damage.
Improvements to building and infrastructure reduce the amount of damage.
The level of a disaster is measured by its impact so it has to affect a vulnerable region with a vulnerable population and a disaster in a highly vulnerable region can have devastating consequences.
A human made disaster is the result of people behaving badly or the actions of a dangerous leader and countries regularly experience man-made disasters.
They may not involve loss of life or property but war is a man-made disaster that results in both.
