There’s an army of punters (house 5) having fun. They’re after quick profits. Bitcoin is up 300 percent since May 2020, but it’s famous for its turbulence and extreme price swings, and in May 2021 it suffered heavy losses in a fast cryptocrash.
Elon Musk (Uranus) is a big fan but his unpredictable tweets (Uranus) sent Bitcoin skidding to a three month low (Saturn). On May 20 a cohort of Wall Street chart watchers said Bitcoin’s deepest selloff since cryptomania kicked off last year looks set to intensify. On Friday May 21 there was a 31% plunge in the morning and a 33% surge in the afternoon. A sudden fall propelled a frantic rebound.
