Precognition is defined as foreknowledge of an event and Hermetic astrology and extrasensory perception allow you have knowledge of something before it exists or happens.
Fatality is defined as the quality or condition of being fated; or something caused or dictated by fate.
Fate is defined as the ultimate agency that predetermines the course of events; the inevitable fortune that befalls you, but precognition does not imply that the events you experience are preordained or fated.
Your soul, or unconscious mind, is the organization in finer than physical substance of the sum total of your past experiences. You’re a time-traveler with an extensive backstory.
As time (the fourth dimension) has an existence on the physical plane, the physical plane has a fourth dimension.
Your soul’s particular movement through this time dimension is called its world-line. And everything back of the now point is fixed in time, or the fourth dimension. In other words, your past cannot be changed.
Furthermore, the trend of your world-line can be projected into the future. But only in so far as the future is perfectly predetermined and not altered through the intervention of intelligent initiative.
With your consciousness commonly giving its attention so completely to the now in relation to the physical world its almost oblivious of the now in relation to the inner-plane and in relation to its own world-line and the world-lines of others.
Your consciousness, however, does not have its source in the physical world, but in organizations of substances having a velocity greater than light, and therefore by definition is not material. I call that organization your soul, or unconscious mind.
Your unconscious mind has the ability to observe whatever it turns its attention to. When it’s directed to the reports of the physical senses and to cerebral processes it’s called objective consciousness. But this at any time is only a small portion of its total consciousness.
When its attention is turned from the physical world to the happenings of the inner-plane, where velocities are greater than that of light, consciousness becomes more or less aware of what is transpiring there. And one of the most startling characteristics of observing happenings from the inner-plane is that in addition to their now, their world-lines are also visible.
An observer is able to view what took place in the past just as if they were witnessing it in the now, and able to observe what probably will take place in the future as if it were taking place in the future as if it were taking place in the now.
To the extent your faculties are cultivated to look along such world-lines you can see in all its detail any event that took place in the past, and any event that will take place in the future, unless intelligent initiative intervenes to change it.
Such ability to look backward and forward along the time or fourth dimension is not a characteristic of the physical senses in reporting the events of the physical world. It has a fourth dimension because in it there is measurement of time and an appreciation of both past and future.
From the standpoint of your purely physical existence, both past and future are rather vague. In marked contrast to your highly vivid now you have memories of the past, and hopes and fears of the future, but they do not usually stand out as clearcut as do the images of what is transpiring now.
This now, which so absorbs your attention, is merely a three-dimensional cross-section of your four-dimensional existence which can be perceived when your consciousness functions, not through an exchange of electrical energies with the cells of your brain, but on the inner-plane.
Even your ordinary objective consciousness, to the extent there are memory images and images of the probable future, is aware of four dimensions.
But because it is only when inner-plane consciousness is attained that there is full facility to use the fourth or time dimension to acquire information through observing the happenings of the past and probable future, it has become the custom to call the inner-plane where such observation is possible, the fourth dimension.
To state that a train is traveling at 60 miles per hour recognizes the space-time four dimensions. And when velocities acquire 186,282 miles per second, a moving thing is brought to the boundary-line of physical existence, and any increase of velocity will take it across the boundary-line into a plane of existence where, due to the relation of the fourth or time dimension to space dimensions, its attributes are paradoxically different.
It is then in what is commonly called the four-dimensional realm; four-dimensional not because the physical lacks four dimensions, but because the space-time dimensions so radically change the characteristics of all within its realm.
When your consciousness functions on this inner-plane, your ability to perceive events and conditions is not limited to the now. And through sleep you can train yourself to bring back considerable knowledge of the future.
Precognition is relatively common and is a well-recognized fact.
It is made possible because on the inner-plane you can apprehend what is distant in space, and look along the world-lines of people and objects you contact and, within the limit of your ability, perceive any scene in their past. And you can look ahead along their world-line and perceive within the limit of your ability, any scene in their future, provided the world-line is not altered by intelligent initiative.
Until the future becomes the now there is always the possibility that intelligent initiative will step in and alter the world-line.
On the physical plane you can observe that a person is traveling (at a given rate of speed) towards a city where an outbreak of gang violence could endanger their safety. Their world-line may be leading them directly to disaster, and you may even calculate the approximate moment they will meet it.
Yet if you or someone else contacts the person and informs them of the danger they can use intelligent initiative to alter their world-line and they will not meet the disaster that is clearly shown.
Within certain limits, and in spite of prevision, or often because of it, people can and do change their world-lines.
Looking down the fourth dimension into the future you can only see what is probable, not what is inevitable.
Neither Hermetic astrology, which maps character and environment, nor prevision, which is the piercing of world-lines projected into the future, imply fatality.
