August 3: Korean stock market crash: In the past five weeks, the stock market in South Korea has collapsed, shedding almost 40 per cent. The international media ignores Iceland so who knows if a disaster has occurred their recently. Within 24 hours of the eclipse more than 135 million people across Europe, mostly in France, Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom, face temperatures above 35 degrees Celsius (95 Fahrenheit) as the continent’s latest heatwave builds.
August 14: Wildfire: Thousands of people are forced to evacuate across Germany, France, the United Kingdom, Croatia and Greece due to intense wildfires (Mars) that have torn through villages and woodlands.
