There were 2,004,991 confirmed cases. The global death toll reached 126,830. The economic fallout was devastating. The unemployment queues grew longer; recession was inevitable. There was so much loss.
With Jupiter conjunction Pluto in the sky the IMF and World Bank became lifeboats providing economic rescue packages; and Jupiter’s optimism saw a ray of hope whenever a fall in the number of covid cases indicated a flattening of that curve.
With progressed Neptune square Saturn in the Neptune cycle it was black-April for the oil industry. Coronavirus lockdowns saw it plunge into crisis as the demand for oil (Neptune) slumped (Saturn). In response, on April 12, OPEC producers and their allies agreed to slash the global oil output by 10%.
Covid-19 turbulence (Saturn) caused the aviation sector (Neptune) to crash. To survive it required government bailouts but the astro-indicators over the coming months are not looking good.
Neptune and Saturn sparked investor uncertainty and wild fluctuations on share markets. Saturn had millions of people boarding the poverty train and Neptune’s investors saw their revenue streams slow to a trickle as the global economy plunged into recession (Saturn).
