Hermetic astrology teaches that Mars is the planet of war and due to their evolutionary past and conditioning by environment human souls are predisposed to fight. They all have an aggressive urge; so, in time of war the general type of thinking and feeling engaged in, and radiated by the people involved in the conflict, is of the Mars type and it’s usually highly discordant.
It teaches that Saturn is the planet of safety and that all human souls have a security urge, so the fear and insecurity they feel in time of warfare, and the general type of thinking they engage in, is of the Saturn type and it too is usually highly discordant.
Both the Mars and Saturn thought-cells, that function in the unconscious mind, serve as stimulators of the adrenal glands; and its hormone provides an explosive type of energy: a fight or flee response in an emergency situation.
In time of war and insecurity the home life is usually disrupted and the harmonious expression of the domestic urges (Moon) is disturbed. But discordant Mars urges don’t afford a beneficial natural antidote for harmonizing their discordant expression.
And as the normal expression of the safety urges is constantly disturbed through an enhanced sense of insecurity, the normal care and caution – guardrails – associated with the social life and the affections (Venus) is feckless, making it easier to yield to social temptations.
War and its associated fears and insecurities affect the physical, mental and social wellbeing of all those involved, but the young, having early life first time exposure, are inclined to experience discordant conditioning of their Mars and Saturn thought-cells which has a lifelong impact.

On February 28, 2026 the United States and Israel launched Operation Epic Fury on Iran and within weeks the world experienced the worst oil crisis in history. And Donald Trump and his chief advisors Pete Hegseth and Marco Rubio were preoccupied trying to explain the rationale for the conflict.
On April 7 the warring parties announced a two-week ceasefire with Trump declaring victory but if that turns out to be lie who in his cabinet will end up paying the price because he’s incapable of accepting responsibility and always shifts blame. Communicating through Truth Social his MAGA base believes all his lies are truths.
The unreasonable and erratic US president thrives on confrontation and is determined to make everyone suffer, just like he does. All his money, power and influence can’t liberate him from the pain and frustration he feels.

Donald Trump does not regularly attend Church services and after 2020 has increasingly embraced Christian nationalism in rhetoric and imagery, selling Bibles and framing his campaigns as spiritual battles. A large number of Evangelical pastors view him as a present-day messiah, likening him to the Biblical King Cyrus.
Pete Hegseth is part of the Communion of Reformed Evangelical Churches, an archconservative network of Christian congregations.
In his chart the religious sign Sagittarius is on the ascendant and the religious planet Jupiter, along with orthodox Saturn and violent Mars, is in house 9 (religion) and at his current level of character and intelligence development he’s only able to understand conservative religious beliefs so he searches the Bible to find violent verses to justify his beliefs and actions.
