It’s a no-brainer: you could live your life better with reliable information pertaining to your future and that’s what your progressed chart provides.
You’re not going to slip through life without meeting a few crises. And the most effective way of meeting the various crises of life is to know in advance as much as possible about their nature and when they’ll arrive. You then need to gather as much information as possible about how they can best be handled and act calmy and courageously when they do arrive.
The most in ineffective way of meeting a crisis is to view it in a spirit of defeatism. That’s because the image in your mind exerts a force to bring about its own fulfillment.
Information provided by your birth chart allows you to prepare in advance to effectively meet the new conditions. For example, when you learn that during a certain year of your life you have progressed aspects that facilitate the development of a disease toward which you have a predisposition you should commence to condition yourself in such ways as to make certain the disease cannot gain a foothold; and during the time the progressed aspect is operative you should arrange for a diet and other environmental factors which will prevent it.
Foreknowledge of probable events enables you to adjust your life before the event takes place so as to be less distressed by those that have an adverse influence and to take greater advantage of those that have a beneficial influence. But a knowledge of progressed aspects does much more than this.
They clearly reveal what events are most probable during a specific period and enable you to prevent undesirable events. A discordant energy release that is predisposed to attract undesirable events can be diverted into attracting events that are far more advantageous.
Research into progressed aspects revealed that instead of being inevitable the events indicated by a given progressed aspect are profoundly influenced by factors which are within your control.
So, you need to sit down with your progressed chart and get a clear understanding of its data.
You should systematically work through each progressed aspect and carefully assess its influence at your current level of understanding. Your ultimate objective is to develop a management strategy for handling each important major progression and to then implement the strategy.
Foreknowledge of probabilities enables you to train your thought-cells and select environments with the end view of encouraging, and taking the utmost advantage of, other alternative events that are more fortunate.
And by diverting thought-cell activity that would otherwise express in unfortunate events into channels of expression that are constructive you can attract far more beneficial events than had you made no such effort.
You should not fear your progressed chart.
All it indicates is energy being added to thought-cells that already exist within your unconscious mind.
Progressed aspects can only act through what has already been built into the relative solidity of your astral body aka your character. So, instead of fearing aspects, and instead of wondering what they are going to do to you, you should think: ‘What am I going to do with this energy?’
This applies to both birth chart and progressed aspects.
An upcoming progressed aspect signifies that the thought-cells of your character are going to have available so much more additional energy of a given kind. And you should make definite plans, such as using a conciliating planet, conversion, or mental antidotes, to turn this new energy into what you consider is a constructive worthwhile purpose. Work can only be accomplished when there is sufficient energy present to do it; and when present, it is wasteful not to put it to good use.
There is no such thing as fate or destiny in the sense of the inevitable. You have the power to master your own failings and with determination develop strength where there is weakness and positive energies for those which are negative, ineffective and destructive.
You’re a planner and you should use your birth chart to plan your life-journey; and foreknowledge provided by your progressed chart allows you to effectively navigate discordant thought-cell activity.
You’re a trainee worker in God’s cosmic enterprise
You’re being trained to perform a special task in God’s great cosmic enterprise and your birth chart maps the particular tools that you must work with and indicates their condition at the time you became aware of them.
To become a competent and efficient worker with these tools, you must become familiar with your defects and values, and with this knowledge you must reshape and sharpen them; and then, through effective expenditure of energy, you must direct these improved implements to the accomplishment of a definite constructive work.
When starting to build a house you must commence with the foundation and the same applies when you start to build your character. And your birth chart, in addition to mapping the tools you must use, also provides a blueprint of the foundation. They’re what you must work with when you do your building.
It’s of small value to a wood carver to learn from his birth chart that he’s going to cut his finger with his tools.
