December 19: Funding deal: In Europe European Union leaders agree to a deal (Saturn) to provide 90 billion euros [$105.5bn] interest free (Neptune) to support Ukraine meet its military and economic needs for the next two years. December 20: Oil tanker seizure: In the second incident of its type this month the US Department of Homeland Security (Saturn) says the US has seized an oil tanker (Neptune) that had recently departed from Venezuela. Saturn was conjunction Neptune in the sky.
December 25: Conflict: In Nigeria, at the request of Nigerian authorities, the US launches a deadly strike (Mars) targeting Islamic States militants (Mars-Uranus) who had killed innocent Christians (Jupiter).
