Mars is the planet of war and in the Age of Aquarius war is a conflict involving tanks, guns, bombs, missiles, rockets, mighty armies and massive destruction. The brutality is demanding that humanity civilize its aggressive urge (Mars). Machines and human resources have to build and construct. Disputes have to be resolved by dialogue at the conference table.
The Pluto period of the Sun section of the Aquarian Age puts the spotlight on cooperative or coercive power. There’s a quest for domination and the world is divided into democratic nations and authoritarian dictatorships.
In the Aquarian Age chart in 1986 the equinox pointer moved to form a high-discord square aspect with progressed Pluto. The calculations are uncertain but we estimate the aspect reached peak power in October 2013. Its end date is April 2043. Whatever, global astrology moved into unchartered waters. A major equinox progression could be observed in real-time. Its occurrence during the Pluto period elevated the level of menace.
Since September 1945, when World War 2 ended, humanity has avoided a major war. Some say it was a great achievement. In accordance with progressed Mars in the Aquarian Age chart it’s been a relatively peaceful period. From October 1987 to December 1991 progressed Mars was sextile Pluto. It timed the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991.
Mars-Pluto in the Aquarian Age chart
Then in June 2015 progressed Mars moved to form a parallel aspect with birth chart Pluto > peak power date was December 18, 2018. In the Pluto period of the Aquarian Age with the equinox square progressed Pluto astrology issued a red alert.
The parallel aspect intensified the high concentration of Mars-Pluto energy and Mars gave it a discordant-destructive trend.
Then in April 2018 progressed Mars moved to form a parallel aspect with progressed Pluto > peak power date was November 21, 2021 > and the volume of Mars-Pluto energy in the astral atmosphere escalated significantly. The Mars-Pluto energy-event had a ten year time frame: June 2015 to July 2025.
A progressed aspect operates on a bell curve principle. It starts, peaks and finishes and its peak date indicates when the energy is at peak volume. So December 18, 2018 and November 21, 2021 were the dates when the Mars-Pluto energy was at its highest or most intense force and major events of the Mars-Pluto type were destined to occur around these dates.
On October 2, 2018 Saudi dissident and Washington Post columnist Jamal Khashoggi walked into the Saudi consulate in Istanbul and didn’t come out alive. His murder showcased the horrific nature of Mars-Pluto.
Mars-Pluto February 24, 2022
On February 14, 2022 Mars in the sky moved into orb of a conjunction aspect with Pluto – peak power date was March 3 > end date was March 17 – and by elevating the volume of Mars-Pluto energy fine-tuned the time frame during which significant events of the Mars-Pluto type could occur.
On February 24, 2022, with progressed Mars parallel progressed Pluto in the Aquarian Age at peak power on November 21, 2021, Mars conjunction Pluto in the sky and progressed Mars conjunction Pluto in the Mars cycle acting as the timing trigger, Russia in an unprovoked act of aggression broke international law and invaded Ukraine.
But the Mars-Pluto conjunction on March 3, 2022 did not forecast a precise, inevitable event. You can’t look at a country’s Mars-Pluto conjunction chart and say this event will happen on this day; but you can forecast an event of the Mars-Pluto type. Knowledge of current circumstance permits a more accurate forecast.
That said some observers here on Earth didn’t need to know about the in-sky Mars-Pluto conjunction on March 3 to see the war sign. Russia’s build up of troops on Ukraine’s border indicated to them that Russia was preparing to invade Ukraine. The fact that so many expert observers read the sign incorrectly reveals how easily deductive reasoning can get it wrong.
Global astrology observers who were aware of (1) all the astro data influencing the Earth’s mundane affairs in February 2022 and (2) Russia’s military buildup on Ukraine’s border at the same time knew that Russia was going to invade Ukraine. All the pressures resisting the event were evaporating. The invasion event became inevitable. This doesn’t mean that astrology is fatalistic. Right up to the minute that Putin announced the invasion he had the freewill not to behave in the way the planets were indicating he would.
Knowledge of the invasion before it occurred did not prepare astro-observers for what happened. Pictures on screens brought Mars and Pluto to life as human actors executed the script they were writing in the sky.
The real-time monitoring of events here on Earth is the best way to get a handle on the charts and energies that define global astrology.
The Mars-Pluto conjunction chart for Russia or Ukraine won’t tell you how long the war will last or who will win. It’s likely that the chart for the birth of the war does but the science is scant and probably unreliable.
Unprecedented events signal a major global shift
The Russia-Ukraine war that was scripted by progressed Mars parallel progressed Pluto in the Aquarian Age chart and timed by Mars conjunction Pluto in the sky has triggered unprecedented – history making – events.
It’s World War 3 with the European Union, America and their allies launching an all out attack on Putin’s Russia. The missiles and rockets are being launched in Ukraine and the financial bombs are falling in Russia.
World leaders are hell bent on ensuring Putin doesn’t win but no one could have predicted the financial attack that is being launched on Russia’s economy, banks and business. Progressed Pluto square Jupiter in the Pluto cycle and Jupiter conjunction Neptune in the sky marched onto the battlefield. It’s a new age economic conflict and the west will crush Russia. The implications are massive. You could be witnessing how Aquarian Age wars will be fought in the future.
It’s likely that the March 3 Mars-Pluto conjunction will set off a chain reaction of events.
Mars conjunction Saturn on April 5 will elevate the level of insecurity and time major events mapped by progressed Mars parallel birth chart Saturn > peak power date was August 2020. Hot on the heels of Mars conjunction Pluto it’s likely to time horrific violence and destruction in Ukraine, other types of suffering in Russia, and a major global outbreak of coronavirus. Mars and Saturn highlight the woes of war and weather. The astral atmosphere is drenched in fear and anger.
Mars conjunction Neptune on May 18 is likely to turbocharge inflation, ignite an oil war and escalate the war in the skies. Ukraine wants the west to enforce a no-fly zone which would prevent Russian planes flying into Ukraine’s air space. It’s a very dangerous option which is currently off the table.
Mars conjunction Jupiter on May 29 is likely to see a major escalation in the west’s financial attacks on Russia and major strife for banks and financial institutions. A holy war and conflict on the high seas can’t be ruled out.
And Mars conjunction Uranus on August 1...well, who knows? It will time major events mapped by progressed Mars parallel birth chart Uranus in the Aquarian Age chart > peak power date is April 13, 2023 > so unprecedented, history making change is sure to occur. As the economic sanctions bite in Russia social discontentment will escalate increasing the likelihood of a new Russian revolution. Whatever... rapid cataclysmic change is on humanity’s agenda.
And all the time nuclear weapons are posing a threat to humanity’s security and Pluto’s propaganda machine is running at full throttle.
The next Mars-Pluto in-sky conjunction occurs February 14, 2024.
