These in-sky Mars-Uranus conjunctions occur around every two years and while they up the level of hazard and herald earth-shaking situations the world keeps turning. That said… their conjunction on January 20, 2021 is particularly risky and perilous. Here’s why…
Mars and Uranus are conjunction Moon, square (obstacle-conflict) Sun, Jupiter, and Saturn and semisquare (friction) Neptune.

The hotspot in a specified chart is the house where the Mars-Uranus conjunction is located and the hotspot event links to other mundane matters ruled by the houses where the Sun, Moon, Jupiter, Saturn and Neptune are located.

On January 12, 2021 Mars is parallel Uranus; on January 13 Mars is square Saturn; on January 17 Jupiter – planet of finances – is square (obstacle-conflict) Uranus; and on January 23 Mars is square Jupiter. (On February 7 Mars is parallel Jupiter.)
From January 12 to January 24 the volume of Mars-Uranus energy impacting Earth increases when progressed Mars forms a parallel aspect with Uranus in the Mars cycle > peak power date is January 18; and it gets a major boost when progressed Mars is conjunction Uranus in the Mars cycle from January 25 to January 29 > peak power date is January 27, 2021.

Mars is feeling aggressive, antagonistic, belligerent, angry, harsh, brutal, fierce, impatient, hasty and reckless. He’s driven by hate and loathing. Uranus is disruptive, rebellious, unreasonable, extreme, bizarre, weird, unpredictable and inventive. He’s driven by discontentment and innovation.
Events involve soldiers, army, military personnel, militias, police, extremists, radical political leaders, protesters, reformers, firefighters, doctors, emergency service workers, the LGBTQI community, dangerous technologies, bombs and guns. The rainbow flag will be smeared in red.
Mars-Uranus and covid-19
On December 31, 2019 China informed the World Health Organization of a pneumonia like infection in the city of Wuhan, the capital of Hubei Province.
In mid January 2020 the WHO issued a statement saying that Chinese authorities had found no evidence of human-to-human transmission. Then on January 20, Zhong Nanshan, a prominent Chinese infectious disease expert, confirmed on state television that the pathogen – coronavirus – could be transmitted from human to human; and on January 23 Wuhan went into lockdown.

In January 2021 it’s winter in the northern hemisphere and while vaccines have been developed the likelihood of a second, third or fourth wave of coronavirus infections and deaths in some countries is very high.
Mars is the planet of manufacturing and his energy is engaged in manufacturing coronavirus vaccines for a world desperate for covid-19 relief. There’s a race to get people immunized but Mars-Uranus discord in January 2021 strongly inclines towards major glitches – unexpected mishaps and unfortunate events – with the vaccine rollout.
Speed and haste (Mars) can have unforeseen consequences (Uranus) and with millions of anti-vaxxers around the globe there’ll be an epidemic of disinformation and anti-vaccine protests.
On November 23, 2020 the head of WHO, Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, said that successful vaccines must be distributed equitably and that the world’s poorest and most vulnerable (Saturn) must not be ‘trampled in the stampede (Mars)’ for covid-19 vaccines.
The Mars-Uranus conjunction event forecast period ends February 13, 2021 and on February 17, 2021 the first in-sky Saturn-Uranus square reaches peak power.
The next Mars-Uranus conjunction occurs August 1, 2022.
