The race for dominance

In the Sun section of the Aquarian Age (1881-2188) human energy is applied to political, economic and military aggrandizement.

Nations respond to the call for superiority and greatness.

It’s a race for political, economic and military dominance.

The dominant nation wields enormous power.

It calls the shots.

In 1881 Britain was the dominant world power but the Sun section of the Aquarian Age set the scene for a race of dominance.

The race for dominance

The first great watershed moment was World War 1 in 1914.

Militarism, the buildup of armed forces and groups of nations (allies) were involved.

Germany, Austria-Hungary and Turkey (the Central Powers) were out to dominate.

They were defeated by France, Great Britain, Russia, Italy, Japan and America (the Allied powers).

Then in 1939 Germany tried again.

World War 2 was all about political, military and racial dominance.

It may have been the most dangerous moment in human history.

It was fought between two groups of countries.

On one side were Germany, Italy and Japan (the Axis Powers).

On the other were Britain, France, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, India, the Soviet Union, China and the United States of America (the Allies).

On August 6, 1945 America dropped a weapon of mass destruction on the Japanese city of Hiroshima.

The Allies won the second race for dominance.

But America’s atomic bomb gave it military dominance.

Then on August 29, 1949 the USSR exploded its own atomic bomb.

It seems the equinox in the Libra decanate of Aquarius wanted military dominance shared.

There was a balance (Libra) of (military) power (Sun).

(Now there are 9 nations known to have nuclear weapons.)

Then came the Cold War.

It lasted from 1947 to 1991.

It pitted the world’s two great powers – the democratic, capitalist United States and the communist Soviet Union – against each other.

It was a battle for dominance and supremacy involving technology, its military firepower and, by extension, each country’s political-economic system.

On November 9, 1989 the Berlin Wall came down and in late 1991 the Soviet Union dissolved into its component republics.

America won.

In the mean time from 1957 to 1975 there was a competition between America and the USSR regarding achievements in the field of space exploration.

On July 20, 1969 Neil Armstrong walked on the Moon.

America won the space race.

It achieved technological dominance.

The Sun and political dominance

So in the Age of Aquarius America is the dominant super-power.

It has military, technological and economic dominance.

Russia is defeated economically but boasts about its military might.

China has become an economic powerhouse and is out to threaten America’s technological and economic superiority.

The race for economic and technological superiority is on-going.

But the Sun section is all about politics, political dominance, political systems, governance and political values.

Aquarius is a democratic sign but the Sun section is about imperialism – the policy of extending a country’s power and influence through colonization by military force, or other means.

This indicates that representative democracy and totalitarian forms of government cannot persist side by side.

The only way the world can escape complete servitude to some power is through the recognition of the principle of equal opportunities and individual liberties which is characterized by Aquarius; and the cooperative (Pluto) upholding of that principle, with sufficient force, to eliminate armed aggression.

It indicates the adoption or forced acceptance of a single governmental standard.

Democracy is a system of government by the whole population or all the eligible members of a state, through elected representatives.

In 2019 less than half the world’s population lives in a democracy of some sort.

Only 5% live in a full democracy.

One third lives in authoritarian – dictator – regimes.

Totalitarian governments make the state supreme.

Individual liberty and human rights are made subservient to the demands of the state.

Pluto – the planet of dictators and totalitarian governments – is very active in the Sun section of the Aquarian Age.

Democracy has many problems and is losing popularity

Politically China is a socialistic republic.

It’s ruled by the Communist Party of China.

You can view China as a democratic dictatorship or an indirect democracy.

The people vote and have many political and other freedoms.

Russia is a federal semi-presidential republic.

It’s a democracy but more likely a fake democracy.

The people have the right to vote but don’t have many freedoms although progress is being made.

The Sun section of the Aquarian Age is all about political dominance and military, economic and technological superiority.

It will be around till 2188.

The race for dominance and nationalistic superiority remains high on the Aquarian Age agenda.
