This ongoing global events report correlates major international events and developments with their astrological markers in specified astrological charts and the sky. Events as reported by reputable news services.

January 19: Women’s march 2019 – women (Venus) in cities around the world march to protest (Uranus) violence against women (Mars) and the gendered impact of austerity and to demand gender equality. Progressed Moon was parallel Venus and Uranus in the Aquarian Age chart.

January 16: In Manbij, Syria 18 people are killed including 2 US soldiers (Mars) in a suicide attack claimed by ISIL; in Mali gunmen (Mars) attack two villages near the border with Niger killing at least 20 people; and in Port-au-Prince, Haiti at least 21 people are killed in a massacre by gunmen (Mars) wearing police uniforms. January 15: Theresa May’s Brexit deal (Mercury-Jupiter) is defeated in the British Parliament by 432 votes to 202. January 14: Anti-government protests erupt in Zimbabwe after President Emmerson Mnangagwa raised fuel prices (Jupiter) by 150 percent. By Friday (January 18) three people had died in the unrest and hundreds of Zimbabweans had been arrested.  The internet has been blacked out each day. January 10: Nicolas Maduró is sworn in for his second term as President of Venezuela. His election is widely condemned as illegitimate (Pluto). Demonstrations again labor (Saturn) reforms (Uranus) commenced December 12, 2018. Sudan:  Violent anti-government protests (Uranus) again erupt in Khartoum. Protests over rising prices (Jupiter), shortages of basic commodities (Saturn) and a cash crunch (Jupiter) erupted in the city of Atbara in late December. They have quickly spread to cities across Sudan.  Police (Mars) have used tear gas and live ammunition against demonstrators. Protesters are calling for the end of President Omar al-Bashir’s 29-year rule. Democratic Republic of Congo: On August 1, the World Health Organization declared an Ebola outbreak (Saturn). By December 2 it had become the second largest outbreak in history.
