The major events reported by the national and international news media are the progeny of aspects in global astrology charts expressing in an environmental setting.

Each aspect is an energy-event that has a forecast period measured by its start and end dates. Its peak power date indicates when it’s at maximum force. Events related to a designated aspect can occur during its forecast period. Forecast periods for all the major aspects are indicated.

Aspects in the sky have a wide time-frame that’s determined by their orb of influence. The date indicated is when the aspect is at peak power.

Aspects formed by Mars in the Mars cycle have a 3 day time-frame (36 hours either side of their peak power time/date. The start, peak and end dates of Mars parallel aspects are indicated.

Aspects formed by the Sun in the Sun cycle have a 2 day time-frame (24 hours either side of their peak power time/date). The start, peak and end date of Sun parallel aspects are indicated.

Aspects in global charts do not signpost inevitable events so they can come and go without leaving a noticeable event footprint here on Earth.

Covid-19: Amidst a surging second wave countries rolled out vaccination campaigns; cities introduced lockdowns and curfews; and at least three variants of the virus were detected.  On January 15 the total worldwide coronavirus death toll surpassed 2 million.

January 6: A violent (Mars) mob incited (Uranus) by Donald Trump storms the Capital Building in Washington.

January 13: The US House of Representatives votes 232-197 to impeach Donald Trump for the second time (Uranus).

January 21: A suicide bombing (Mars-Uranus) in Iraq kills at least 32 people.

January 23: Tens of thousands of protesters (Uranus) in Russia demand the release of Kremlin critic Alexei Navalny; and on January 31 more protests saw at least 5,000 people arrested by police (Mars).

January 26: Tens of thousands of protesting (Uranus) farmers (Saturn) in India drive into the capital Delhi on tractors (Mars). On January 30 the farmers began a one-day hunger strike (Uranus) and the government blocked internet services in several areas around New Delhi.

February 1: Myanmar’s military (Mars) seize power in a coup (Pluto); detain civilian leader Aung San Suu Kyi; and declare a state of emergency (Mars). Civil unrest erupts and anti-coup protests (Uranus) continued for days.

February 9: Donald Trump’s second impeachment trial (Uranus) commences in the US Congress.
