The astrological year commences when the Sun enters Aries and a country’s Sun cycle chart provides a forecast model of general events and conditions for the chart’s 12 month duration. It’s a general, rather than specific, events chart that operates in a busy cycle chart environment. The planets by their house positions in a designated chart specify their influence on the mundane matters these houses rule, but rather than forecasting specific events they give trends that are more precisely defined by the Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto cycle charts.
The major strife, violence, conflict, accident, fire and manufacturing events are mapped in the Mars cycle and timed by transit Mars.
The major trade, commerce, money, bank, law, ethics, and religion events are mapped in the Jupiter cycle and timed by Jupiter’s transit of the chart.
The major safety, security, economy, poverty, loss, disease and hardship events are mapped in the Saturn cycle and timed by Saturn’s transit of the chart.
The major radical change, innovation, reform, technology, social unrest and protest events are mapped in the Uranus cycle and timed by transit Uranus.
The major utopian scheme, oil, aviation, drug, film, inflation and fake news events are mapped in the Neptune cycle and timed by Neptune’s transit of the chart.
And the major group, cooperation, coercion, division, crime, terrorist and humanitarian events are mapped in the Pluto cycle and timed by transit Pluto.
The Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto cycle charts have long time-frames and as they instigate change their focus changes. The current Neptune cycle started in 1944 but the environmental setting in which the chart now operates is very different to the world back then.
The Saturn cycle has a long (24 year) time-frame and due to a changing global environment the influence of the chart changes too. The most important Saturn events will occur when transit Saturn forms an aspect to a planet in the Saturn cycle chart but due to Saturn’s slow transit there are long periods when no aspects are formed and yet events of the Saturn type do occur. When transit Mars in the Mars cycle aspects Saturn the forecast strife, conflict, accidents and fires will have a strong element of safety, security, poverty and loss (Saturn). And aspects formed by transit Sun to Saturn in the Sun cycle chart also forecast events of the Saturn type. Saturn’s house position in a specified Sun cycle chart focuses its influence on a specified section of the global agenda for the chart’s 12 month duration. But during this period the outstanding Saturn events will be mapped in the Saturn cycle chart and timed by transit Saturn.
Any planet that aspects the Sun in the Sun cycle chart has its influence upgraded. These aspects mark for events that involve and influence – for better or worse – the mundane matters ruled by the house where the Sun is located. These matters attain a great deal of concern and interest. The strongest planets and aspects in the chart and the houses they rule and influence provide a forecast model on which an accurate event forecast can be made.
Events occur as the Sun by transit forms aspects to the other planets in the chart. The main aspects to track are the conjunction, opposition, square and trine. But rather than mapping independent events these aspects often fine-tune the timing of events mapped by aspects forming in the major cycle charts. So if there’s an aspect to Mars in the Mars cycle an aspect formed by the Sun to Mars in the Sun cycle can fine-tune the timing of the major Mars event; and if there’s an aspect to Uranus in the Uranus cycle an aspect formed by the Sun to Uranus in the Sun cycle can fine-tune the timing of the major Uranus event. Events occur when there’s a cumulative build-up of energy and a Sun aspect in the Sun cycle often indicates an energy tipping point.
A specified Sun cycle chart maps an emerging potential that has its foundations in a country’s current political, economic and social circumstances. So, accurate forecasting simply requires a clear understanding of the chart and the environmental setting in which it operates.
